Brazil legend Pele has sent a heartfelt message to Manchester United star Antony after the Samba Boys were knocked out of the World Cup by Croatia on Friday night.
Antony and co looked to be on their way to qualification in extra time when Neymar danced through the European's defence to score. However, a late Bruno Petkovic strike sent the match to penalties.
Marquinhos would strike the post with the all-important spot kick to send Croatia to the semi-finals once again. After the match, United's forward took to Instagram to send a defiant message to Brazil supporters.

"This is not how I would like to start this message," he wrote. "But, first of all, I need to say how proud I am of everyone who lived this dream with me.
"It was years, months, weeks, days and more days thinking about bringing this title back home, the country of football. And we tried everything... Every drop of sweat shed, every tackle, every vibe, every dribble and goal... We did it.
"Today, the sadness of an elimination remains, of an interrupted dream. However, the certainty that we will come back even stronger, more united and with the same desire to bring joy to everyone who cheers for us.
"The Antony who leaves Qatar today is the same one who painted the streets of Osasco dreaming of a World Cup title. It wasn't now, but we'll be back.
"Hexa continues as our goal. Let's cry today, we have that right, we are human beings, but tomorrow we will start to rebuild our history."
Thousands of supporters replied to Antony's post however one will have stood out among the rest. Pele, who is currently suffering with health difficulties and is understood to be receiving end of life care, sent a poignant message to console the young Brazilian.
"You are part of the future generation," the 82-year-old responded. "Don't give up and stay strong. The story is just beginning."
Croatia's progression means they will face Argentina in Lusail on Tuesday before Morocco take on France in Al Khor for the other place in the World Cup final.
