Vanessa Feltz is throwing herself into the world of dating, four months after she and Ben Ofoedu split.
The former couple split in February after 17 years together after Vanessa claimed her former lover had cheated throughout their relationship as well as sext-messaging another woman.
Ben later confessed to his actions and issued a grovelling apology to his ex-partner.
Now, Vanessa, 62, is prepared to find a new man and has singed up for E4's Celebs Go Dating, which will see love guru Anna Williamson help the television presenter out.
Last week, Celebrity Big Brother icon Vanessa announced she was going on her first date in 17 years and was "nervous".
Speaking exclusively to the Mirror, Anna said she "squealed" down the phone when Channel 4 bosses called to reveal the lineup: "First of all, they told me about Vanessa.
"Vanessa, bless her, it's the story we've all kind of heard about recently but we've not really given her that space to unpack it in her own way.
"We're really delighted that Vanessa has joined us because it's actually a really brave thing to do having gone through such a huge profile breakup."
Anna explained that she and Paul Brunson were previously discussing that Vanessa was also in a position to share love advice with singletons prior to signing up for the show.
"This was a huge step for Vanessa," she said, before adding: "I think it's really brave and really vulnerable to be putting herself in the position she is.
"We really want to be able to help her move through this public and emotional heartbreak and reclaim that kickass beautiful woman that is there – but to be strong and independent and choose the right men on her terms.
"I think we have an enormous hill to climb with Vanessa but I'm really looking forward to seeing how open she's going to be with us."
This year, Celebs Go Dating started filming on the day they announced the lineup consisting of Vanessa, Lottie Moss, Chloe Burrows and loverat Adam Collard.
"Were now in our second week of filming and honestly, I don't think I've been as excited," exclaimed Anna.
The philanthropist and mother went on to say: "There's just so many additional and exciting tweaks, you've got me, Paul, Tom and Rob Beckett voicing it, we've now got sexpert Dr. Tara all the way from LA who is fabulous, just adding a little bit of sexiness.
"We've got the most incredible bunch of celebrities and let's just say, they are misbehaving. They are naughty, they are lovable, they are unlovable all in equal measures.
"We have our work cut out."
