A man has been rushed to hospital after being hit by a car in Morley.
A 64-year-old Leeds resident was walking in Harrop Avenue on Sunday (April 3) around 2pm, crossing the junction in Britannia Road, before he was hit by a silver Peugeot Horizon.
The Leeds dad was taken to hospital in an ambulance, after residents rushed to his aid. He was taken to hospital after suffering serious injuries.

Thankfully his injuries are not believed to be life threatening, and in a post on social media a family member confirmed he "is stable and in good spirits" following the incident. A family member said that he wouldn't have been in such spirits without the help of kind strangers.
The individual said: "He wanted me to pass on his thanks to those who came to his aid, especially a lady called Krystie who sat with him while the emergency services worked to free him. Your care was very much appreciated and went a long way to calm him in an awful situation."
West Yorkshire Police confirm that they are looking for witnesses to come forward as enquiries are continuing. The force said: "Police are appealing for witnesses after a pedestrian was seriously injured in a collision with a vehicle in Leeds.
"It is believed to have occurred just before 2pm yesterday (Sunday) in Harrop Road, Morley - close to its junction with Britannia Road. The pedestrian, 64, was taken to hospital where he was found to have suffered serious injuries, which were not believed to be life threatening
"The driver of the vehicle, a silver Peugeot Horizon, was spoken to at the scene. Enquiries are continuing.
"Anyone who witnessed the collision, or what happened immediately prior to it, is asked to contact PC Varley at the Roads Policing Unit on 101, or by using the LiveChat facility on the West Yorkshire Police website. Anyone with dash cam footage that may assist the investigation, is also urged to get in touch."
Hundreds of Morley residents have wished the victim well. One individual said: "Sending best wishes for a speedy recovery."
Another added: "Thanks so much for sharing this, I've been really worried. Hope he recovers fully soon." A third said: "Wonderful to see your dad has comforting words from the lovely lady while he was waiting for help. Praying he makes a full recovery soon."
And Krystie, who helped him following the incident said: "Glad I could help, he's a tough brave man, sending love."
