Like rain in the desert, Nintendo fans have been blessed today. The year ahead currently looks a bit empty for Nintendo Switch players – other than the upcoming Kirby and the Forgotten Land – and that is exactly when the creators of Mario and The Legend of Zelda come with news of a brand new Nintendo Direct stream coming this week, February 9.
Nintendo Direct presentations often focus on several large titles, many of those being fact-dumps on games we know about, new reveals, and a round-up of indie games coming to the console.
Tune in at 10:00pm (UK time) on 09/02 for a #NintendoDirect livestream featuring roughly 40 minutes of information mainly focused on #NintendoSwitch games launching in the first half of 2022.

We can expect Kirby and the Forgotten Land to be featured with potential news on Bayonetta 3, but recent rumors from industry insiders have hinted at brand new titles being announced, including a potential successor to the casual launch game 1-2-Switch.
Nintendo fans will be hungry to see more of Metroid Prime 4 and the sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, though we always want to see more of those games, and we are often disappointed, so temper your expectations for now.
The presentation will last for around 40 minutes according to a tweet from Nintendo, and will focus on games launching in the first half of this year. That likely rules out the chances of seeing Breath of the Wild’s sequel, though we can hope that “focus” is flexible enough to show us a trailer as the show finishes up.
If you want to see what you can expect on Nintendo Switch in 2022 make sure to tune into the Nintendo Direct tomorrow at 2pm PST, 5pm EST, and 10pm GMT. Super Mario Odyssey 2 please, Nintendo.
