Brand new Glasgow burger joint set to open from the team behind Elixir

A brand new burger spot is set to open in Glasgow, offering ‘the best sliders and shakes in town’.

From the team who brought us Elixir, the restaurant has no official launch date soon - but we’re told it will be opening ‘very soon’. Offering bitesize burgers along with luxurious milkshakes, the burger joint will likely be just as Instagrammable as its sister restaurant.

While details of the spot haven’t been released just yet, they have posted some of their offerings to their Instagram account.

So far, Slide It Inn have revealed their ‘Kim Kardashian’ burger - pink buns over a Wagyu patty with house special mayo. Additionally they’ve shared one of their desserts, a hot aero mint choc chip cookie dough.

Elixir, which launched in May, has proved popular. The city centre spot offers food and drinks alongside shisha, on Wallace Street near Bridge Street subway station.

Speaking to Glasgow Live ahead of the opening, owner Maz Ali said: “I’ve made this one-stop-shop, very Instagrammable, beautiful inside and out, where people can find a chilled out environment, great ambience, nice shisha, desserts, drinks, anything they need basically under one roof, with seating for around 100 people.”

The existing restaurant is open from 3pm until late every day. For a sneak peek of the new spot, you can have a look at their Instagram here.
