Work is taking place to upgrade a splash park in Nottinghamshire in time for the summer. The Canch Splash Park, in Priorswell Road in Worksop, is currently being transformed with a range of new equipment, including an aqua dome.
Bassetlaw District Council posted an update at the site on Thursday, June 1, and teased that updates would be 'coming soon. A spokesperson said: "Brand new play equipment has been fitted at The Canch Splash Park this week after the new surfacing was laid last week.
"We’re so excited to be upgrading the Splash Park with the instillation of new play equipment including an aqua dome, tipping buckets and spray cannons for children to enjoy throughout the summer months. Once the equipment has been checked, we must carry out some important water testing on the park.
"After we receive the results of these tests, we will be able to announce an official opening date for The Canch Splash Park. Keep an eye on out for updates coming soon."
