The newest addition to the Bristol nightlife scene has announced its opening date. Following the success of its two London cocktail bars, Blame Gloria will open its City Centre site this summer.
Launching on July 8, Blame Gloria provides a late-night cocktail offering until 3am. The new bar promises to provide 'an eccentric, loose, and super opulent venue'.
The bar is taking over the former Timbuk2 site, with a capacity of up to 400. Its list of cocktails, includes the signature Sugar Daddy and the colour changing cocktail, Karma Chameleon.

Blame Gloria’s Happy Hour runs 7-days a week, where visitors will receive 2-4-1 cocktails on the full menu.
Founder Tom Kidd said: “With our London bars already hugely popular, we’re thrilled to be branching outside of the capital and what better city to do so than the cultural hub of Bristol.
"The venue poses the perfect layout for Blame Gloria’s eccentric interiors offering a hot spot like no other for the people of Bristol. Alongside our outstanding cocktail offering, we also have many plans up our sleeve to keep up the momentum post launch.
"We can’t wait to reveal all over the coming months." One of the exciting events includes a night of free drinks for all those named Gloria - as well as an extra special lifetime of cocktails for those willing to make the huge commitment of changing their name.
He added: “Gloria always threw the wildest parties and we know there are Glorias of Bristol out there who are willing to do the same. We can’t wait to welcome them into this eccentric and super opulent venue where they can let loose with a night on us.
"Taking inspiration from 1980s group culture, acting as a fantasy playground to the rockstars of the era, you can see where this party is going. We’re taking this hunt very seriously and there will be many activations happening in Bristol over the next few months helping us to hunt them down. Keep your eyes peeled!”
