Brand new Ayrshire restaurant to open tomorrow with dogs welcome and BYOB

A brand new Ayrshire restaurant will launch tomorrow.

Olivia's Bistro will swing open its doors open in Kilmarnock for the first time this Friday after weeks of being refurbished.

The Queen Street venue, run by former Bar Luca owner Gary Cunningham, was recently home to Kooshy's.

Bosses revealed that the venue will be operating a bring your own bottle policy. Punters can even drop off their own booze ahead of their visit with the staff offering to chill the alcohol for their booking.

And dog owners can take their pooch along too with the creation of a designated seating area from 9am to 4pm.

A post on Facebook read: "We know you will be missing Bar Lucas cocktails so we are bringing them to Olivia’s.

"As we are a bring your own bottle venue all you have to do is provide the spirits and we will provide the ingredients.

"All you have to do is let our staff know in advance what you are bringing and we will do the rest.

"A service charge will be provided for any cocktails made."

A recently released menu shows the restaurant will be open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, although no official opening date has been announced.

Breakfast will feature the usual fare but includes a croque monsieur, a breakfast burrito and a breakfast waffle burger.

Lunch features a range of baked potatoes, wraps, sandwiches, toasties and bagels along with loaded fries.

Dinner features traditional dishes like steak and link pie, cajun crepes, haggis neeps and tatties and pan fried duck breast. A Birra Moretti battered haddock is also on the menu.

Pasta and grill items make the cut and there's also sharing boards to choose from.

Desserts showcase cheesecake, eton mess, sticky toffee pudding and a range of sundaes.
