Brain exercise: A dark tunnel or a green forest, what did you see here?

Optical illusions create visions in our thoughts by utilizing color, light, and patterns. The brain constructs a perception that does not match the actual image using the data the eye has gathered. How we interpret the visual information we get is referred to as perception. By interpreting what we see, our brain strives to make sense of the world around us, which results in optical illusions. In other words, optical illusions trick our minds into thinking about things that might or might not exist. In the video below, a black tunnel is initially seen in the video, but as it goes on, it might turn out to be something else.

@Rainmaker1973, a Twitter user, posted the video. The video appears to have been captured inside a car. It displays the car moving toward a pitch-black tunnel. But as the car approaches the tunnel, it soon becomes clear that it is actually a row of trees casting a shadow-like effect.

The user who posted the video described the tree tunnel in Pahili, Thailand, as having an odd optical illusion in the post's caption. From a distance, it looks to be very black, yet up close and at lightning level, it becomes adjusted naturally.

You can see a video of this optical illusion here:

Since this video was shared, it has received more than one million views attracting all sorts of reactions from the netizens. Additionally, the share has gotten a lot of likes and comments.

There was a comment under the post that said "Nature can be quite interesting at times." Another said, "It's gorgeous. It seems to be a movie!" A third person added, "Imagine going through this at night”, a fourth person said.

You can sometimes be highly perplexed by optical illusion. And if you're someone who would enjoy viewing such an illusion, we have something right here that will leave you speechless.
