The Chase's Bradley Walsh has silenced rumours that he and son, Barney will host BBC's revival of Gladiators. Earlier this year, a new series of the popular 1990s TV series was confirmed to be in development. You can read more about that here.
Following news of its return, father and son Bradley and Barney, who are known for appearing on ITV's Breaking Dad, were apparently 'in talks' to present the comeback show. Talking to Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary on This Morning, Bradley said: "We’ve heard all about that too, we’ve got no idea, nothing is official.
"I’ve heard that I’m coming on Friday mornings with you two now," the 62-year-old added to Dermot and Alison. Bradley’s comments came after a source supposedly revealed that he and his 24-year-old son were set to present the revival.

A source told The Sun: "The BBC love the idea of having a unique duo fronting Gladiators and that’s what hiring a father and son gives them. It’s certainly a break from the presenters the show had previously. They already know they have a great dynamic, thanks to appearing together on their travelogue, Breaking Dad as well as drama, The Larkins."
The Gladiators revival was recently confirmed to launch on BBC, with Kate Phillips, the BBC’s Head of Unscripted, saying: "Gladiators is back, and a whole new generation of viewers can now look forward to watching a Saturday night spectacle like no other. Will the contenders have the will and the skill to succeed against our mighty new Gladiators? You’ll have to tune in to find out!" For more showbiz and television stories get our newsletter here.
