Bradley Walsh was left shocked when a contestant on The Chase managed a show first tonight.
The ITV presenter couldn't believe it as one of the show's contestants - John - made history during the quickfire question round as he and his fellow hopefuls took on Mark 'The Beast' Labbett.
During Tuesday's episode, it was down to a team of Amy, John, Claire and Stephen to work together in a bid to take down The Beast, but Bradley was left shocked by John's performance as he stepped up for the quickfire round.
He stormed through it, shocking the host who insisted the "show was over" for The Beast.
John managed to secure a "full house" in his quickfire question round, answering 11 questions correctly.
Surprised, Bradley insisted it was a show first as he shouted: "The show's over. I can't remember the last time that has happened."
"What's that?" John asked, questioning what had happened, as Bradley replied: "Full house, £11,000, that is spectacular."
Fans took to social media to congratulate John on bagging a place in the final Chase, with one writing on Twitter : "A crucial player is back. John will definitely be the difference for the final #TheChase."
A second viewer added: "@ITVChase #TheChase This guy John is amazing. £11,000 on his cash builder."
"Yes John, what a player #TheChase," a third wrote, with a fourth adding: "John played a great game #TheChase."
Other fans called for John to sign up to Beat The Chasers, where people take on all six of the Chasers at the same time, whilst another fan said John should be sitting up there with the quizmasters.
"John should apply for #BeatTheChasers now! #TheChase," one wrote on Twitter, whilst a second wondered out loud: "How long until they bring John in as the seventh chaser? #TheChase."
Amy, John and Claire made it back to the final Chase and ended up securing an impressive score. They answered a total of 20 questions correctly in two minutes whilst The Beast appeared to struggle.
He lost to the three contestants, with four questions still remaining as the clock ran out.
"Amy, John & Claire, that was a fantastic game #TheChase," one fan wrote online, commenting on the nail-biting round.
