Brad Pitt has spoken out after Margot Robbie claimed to have surprised him with an unscripted kiss while filming their new movie Babylon, saying it was the "tamest thing she does" in the film.
The Aussie actress, 32, recently revealed she made the decision to improvise a new scene after realising the chance to kiss 58-year-old Brad "might never come up again".
Director Damien Chazelle loved the idea and thought it was perfect for Margot's character, who is said to be inspired by the original 'It Girl' Clara Bow.
Reacting to the kiss, Brad said: "There's always room for character interpretation."
"Believe me, that's the tamest thing she does in this. She's on fire on this. It's the best I've ever seen her," he added in an interview with Entertainment Tonight.
In Babylon, the two actors star as debauched film stars in the Roaring Twenties.
The film is full of extravagant parties and raunchy behaviour from all of the characters and also stars Tobey Maguire and Olivia Wilde.
Wolf of Wall Street star Margot went viral earlier this month when she revealed that she had taken matters into her own hands in order to bag a kiss from Brad.
"That wasn't in the script. but I thought, 'When else am I gonna get the chance to kiss Brad Pitt? I'm just gonna go for it'," she said told E! News.
Margot added: "I said, 'Damien, I think Nellie would just go up and kiss Jack'. And Damien was like, 'Well, she could. Wait, hold on, you just wanna kiss Brad Pitt'.
"And I was like, 'Oh so sue me. This opportunity might never come up again'."
The stars of the film recently hit the red carpet in Los Angeles for the premiere, with Margot proudly posing next to her mum Sarie Kessler.
Both mother and daughter looked incredible as they stepped out in all-black for the star-studded event.
Margot modelled a black hooded cut-out dress with a classic halterneck feature. She wore her honey-blonde hair up with a parted fringe loose to frame her face.
Her mum, who works as a physiotherapist looked equally as beautiful in a plunging black gown with decorations embellished on the shoulders.
