Two teenage boys have been charged with the murder of a 16-year-old who was stabbed to death in Northampton, police said.
Rohan Shand died after an incident near the Cock hotel in Kingsthorpe, in the east Midlands, on Wednesday.
The two boys charged, who are from Northampton and aged 16 and 14, cannot be named for legal reasons. They are scheduled to appear at Northampton magistrates court on Saturday morning.
Northamptonshire police said officers were called at 3.35pm on Wednesday to the scene after reports that a boy had been stabbed.
Paramedics attended but Rohan, who was known as Fred by his family and friends, died shortly afterwards.
Two men aged 49 and 21 from Northampton, who were arrested in connection with the death, have been released with no further action taken.
Northamptonshire police said they would still like to speak to witnesses, those with information and anyone with CCTV, doorbell or dashcam footage of the area at the time.
