A boy who died after going into the sea in Skegness has been named locally. A fundraising appeal, set up by friend of the family Justyna Lebiest, said 13-year-old Kacper Biela was on a family holiday in the town before his death.
Lincolnshire Police said it received a report Kacper, who was from Hereford, was in the water at around 6.15pm on Saturday, August 13 as reported by Grimsby Live. A search was carried out by police, the coastguard and lifeboat crews and the boy's body was found and recovered at around 11.30pm.
Justyna Lebiest has set up a PayPal fundraising website to raise money for Kacper's family that has already seen more than £2,300 pledged. Justyna said: "I am fundraising for Kacper Biela's family. On the 13th of August, Kacper Biela, a teenage boy age 13, sadly passed away.

"This tragic event took place in Skegness, where [he] and his family spent time on holiday. This completely broke all of their hearts.
"His family [has] decided to send him over to Poland, and allow him to peacefully rest there.
"Unfortunately, this involves a pretty high cost to cover transport and the funeral. Any donation will be directly sent to his mother, and will be greatly appreciated."
Tributes left on the fundraising page suggest he was a junior footballer in Hereford. One said: "Enjoy football in the sky little one."
