A teenage boy was rushed to Alder Hey Children's hospital in a critical condition after being found unconscious.
Cheshire Police have said officers and paramedics attended Britannia Road, Helsby at about 10pm on January 18, Cheshire Live reports.
A 14-year-old boy was found unconscious at the address after police were called to reports of concerns for the welfare of a teenage boy.

The teenager was taken to Liverpool's Alder Hey Children's Hospital.
A Cheshire Constabulary spokesperson said: "At around 10pm on Tuesday 18 January police were called to reports of concerns for the welfare of a teenage boy at an address on Britannia Road, Helsby.
"Officers attended the scene and a 14-year-old boy was found unconscious.
"The teenager was subsequently taken to Alder Hey hospital, where he is currently in a critical condition.
"Enquiries to establish what took place are ongoing, although there are no reports of any third party involvement and officers are not appealing for information at this time."
