I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! returned to Irish TV screens on Sunday and is already bringing the drama, with Boy George one of the stand out stars.
The singer, whose real name is George Alan O'Dowd, has Irish heritage with his mother Dinah O'Dowd from Dublin.
Viewers watched on earlier this week as the star threatened to quit following the arrival of British politician Matt Hancock in the Australian jungle.

The 61-year-old told the MP he was "going to get it" from the public after he was forced to step down as Health Secretary last year due to breaking social distancing rules during the Covid pandemic.
Boy George was left in tears as he reflected on his mum Dinah O'Dowd being ill during the pandemic, Express reports.
The singer explained that he wasn't allowed to see Dinah, who almost died in hospital, due to rules in place by the Government.
At the time, Matt was serving as Health Secretary before leaked CCTV footage showed him kissing his married aide Gina Colangelo, which breached rules.
Speaking to The Mirror's Mark Jefferies, his mum said: "George and I are very close and I’m so very proud of him. He is always there for me, so his reaction wasn’t a surprise, and I am waiting to hug him when he gets home."
In April 2020, the Culture Club star asked his fans to "pray" for his mum who was battling a "heart or lung problem" at the time.
He went on to tweet: "She’s stable but they have said they won’t resuscitate her if things go wrong? Apparently, it won’t work? How can they know. Please pray!”
Later that month, he told Lorraine Kelly his mum was "all good now" and back home.
Earlier this week, the singer vented his feelings about Matt being in camp. Speaking in the Bush Telegraph, he said: "I don't really know what to do with my feelings. You know, today was obviously quite emotional for me.
"I don't know what it's going to be like, I don't know whether I... I actually don't really know if I want to be here."
He was later encouraged to stay and sleep on his thoughts by Coronation Street actor Sue Cleaver.
Sue said: "I think you just have to sleep on it tonight. Look, why he came in and what he's doing here. It's not our responsibility. And it's not for us to take on."
Boy George replied: "That's good advice. When did you get so wise."
His pal DJ Fat Tony also discussed his appearance on the show so far. Following George's emotional moment, he told Lorraine Kelly: “What we saw last night was George being George. Those tears are real.
"Knowing George the way I know George, I would give it two to three days before he has to express his feelings to Matt Hancock.”
He went on to urge Virgin Media to stop giving him so much air time.
I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! returns tomorrow at 9pm on Virgin Media One.
