Dinah has previously appeared on Irish television with George during an interview with Miriam O'Callaghan in 2007. During the interview she reminisced on her time in Dublin.
She said to the RTE presenter: "I come home as often as I can. At least twice a year. And if there's anything going on - parties, special events you know." She also opened up about the surprise at how quickly George became famous as part of The Culture Club.
She continued: "It's funny really, after a while, being amongst people with lots of fame and lots of money, it's quite boring. Honestly it is quite boring because they're all false. What people perceive to be fame, I didn't see that. I just thought to meself, that's him and this is me and I've got other kids, I've to get on with my life."
