A grieving family paid tribute to their five-year-old son at an inquest held into his sudden death.
Kyle Partington was found unresponsive in the early hours of Saturday, February 5, by his dad at their home in Fazakerley Road, Walton.
The inquest at Gerard Majella Courthouse heard that Kyle had been his usual self, although the night before his death he had complained of feeling unwell.

Coroner's officer Elise Fahey read out the conclusions of a post-mortem carried out by Home Office pathologist Dr Jonathan Metcalfe. She said: "There were no suspicious circumstances identified by the police investigation and no known active medical problems.
"There were no worrying or suspicious external findings in this case."
The inquest heard that Kyle exhibited signs of suffering from tonsillitis and a number of other viral conditions and an infection, but these were not unusual for a child of his age and were not significant enough to cause death. There was also the possibility of a heart problem but this could not be confirmed after death.
Liverpool and Wirral area coroner Anita Bhardwaj said: "The death was clearly of a natural cause, but they can't pinpoint it."
Four members of Kyle's family attended the inquest today (Thursday), including Kyle's mum Katie, and dad James, whose occupation was given as fork lift driver.
Katie, whose fourth child Kyle was, paid tribute to him, saying: "He was everything to everyone. Everyone he knew, he wanted to bring joy and laughter."
Ms Bhardwaj told the grieving parents that "you would not have been able to predict it or do anything about it. It's likely it would have been very sudden." She concluded the cause of death was "unascertained."
