A boy waited hours to see King Charles III as he arrived in Liverpool.
Archie Golding, from Anfield, had made a poster for the King, decorated with pictures of the Royal Family, including the Queen Consort, Camilla and the Prince and Princess of Wales, William and Kate.
The nine-year-old said it took three hours for him to make the poster and he had been waiting since the morning for the King and The Queen Consort to arrive at William Brown Street in the city centre.

Speaking to the ECHO, Archie said: "It took me three hours to make. I really hope he [The King] sees it."
Other people had also made the journey to catch a glimpse of the Royals. Sheila, from Great Sutton, got the first bus from where she lives over to the city centre with her husband Ron. She managed to make friends with Mary, from Moreton, in the crowds.
Sheila said: “He’s waited long enough for the job.”
Their Majesties revealed this year’s staging at the M&S Bank Arena and have met this year’s UK contestant, Mae Muller. They were also greeted by the hosts of Eurovision - Ukrainian host Julia Sanina, along with Scott Mills, Rylan Clark and Hannah Waddingham.
The monarchs have also visited Liverpool Central Library to officially mark its twinning with Ukraine’s first public library, the Regional Scientific Library in Odesa. The King arrived at the top of William Brown Street greeted by brass band EuroBrass with Resonate Liverpool Music Hub and Liverpool’s 100 Voices Choir, a choir of young people from local secondary schools.
The King and Queen Consort pulled a Ukrainian flag to reveal a plaque to mark the twinning of Liverpool Central Library and the Regional Scientific Library in Odesa, Ukraine. The King said it was a "particular delight" to be in Liverpool.
He said: “It is a particular delight for my wife and I to join you both here in Liverpool and in Odesa.”
