A teenage boy has been rushed to hospital after a broad daylight stabbing in a west London high street.
The 17-year-old was knifed repeatedly in High Street, Feltham at 5.10pm on Wednesday.
He was found by paramedics who called police to the scene.
His condition is currently not known.
A resident told the Standard: “Apparently the victim was able to get himself into ambulance and was then taken away.
“The street remains closed and uniform officer remains.
“I have my fingers crossed for him and for some arrests.”
A Met spokesman said: “Police were called by London Ambulance Service to reports of a stabbing on High Street, Feltham.
“Officers attended. A 17-year-old male was found with stab injuries. He was taken to hospital and we await an update on his condition.
“A Section 60 has been authorised in Feltham West and Hanworth Park ward areas until 9am on Thursday.
“No arrests.
“Enquiries are ongoing.”
