Boy, 16, rushed to hospital after assault at Scots barber shop

A 16-year-old boy has been rushed to hospital after being assaulted at a Scots barber shop.

We told earlier today how emergency raced to the scene outside S. Kucharski Gents Barber on Musselburgh High Street, in East Lothian, after the alarm was raised just before 2pm.

Pictures show an officer standing outside the front door of the premises, which is behind a police cordon.

A major police presence was spotted in the area as several officers were seen carrying out the probe.
