A 15-year-old boy is to appear in court charged with the attempted murder of a female cyclist.
The victim, in her 40s, told officers she was approached and stabbed as she cycled in Approach Close, Stoke Newington at 11.15pm on June 23.
The woman was taken to hospital after the attempted robbery and remains in a stable condition.
Scotland Yard said a juvenile from Hackney was arrested on Monday. He was charged on Wednesday with attempted murder and robbery.
He will appear at Stratford Magistrates’ Court later on the same day.
