A boy, 15, has appeared in court today after being charged over an incident when a group were seen in a confrontation involving machetes in Harehills.
West Yorkshire Police said the teenager has been charged with affray and threatening with an offensive weapon. The charge is in relation to the incident police were called out to on Roundhay Road on Tuesday, March 7.
The 15-year-old appeared at Leeds Magistrates Court this morning (Saturday, March 11). He was remanded in custody.

Police have also announced that a 16-year old and a 14-year-old boy have both been released on bail with conditions after being arrested. Enquiries into the incident are continuing.
Armed police responded to the incident on Tuesday after police were called out around 5.25pm.
