A 14-YEAR-OLD boy has been taken to hospital after being hit by a bus in South Lanarkshire.
Emergency services were called to a report of a crash involving a bus and a 14-year-old male on Dalmarnock Road, Rutherglen at around 8pm on Wednesday.
The boy was taken to the Royal Hospital for Children. His current condition is unknown.
Police said enquiries into the incident are ongoing.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “Around 8pm on Wednesday, 12 February, 2025, we were called to a report of a crash involving a bus and a 14-year-old male on Dalmarnock Road, Rutherglen.
“Emergency services attended and the male was taken to the Royal Hospital for Children, Glasgow.
“Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.”
