Boy, 14, fist bumbs Tyson Fury after boxer helped raise funds for prosthetic arm

From one champ to another, Marshall Janson bumps fists with Tyson Fury who helped raise funds for his prosthetic arm.

Marshall, 14, also gave his first thumbs-up after getting his life-changing £25,000 arm.

He had his legs and hands amputated after meningitis as a baby caused septicaemia.

He needs two new prosthetic legs a year and his family has to raise funds constantly.

In April, Marshall, from Perranporth, Cornwall, was invited into the ring after Tyson’s victory over Dillian Whyte at Wembley Stadium. Tyson has given Marshall a special belt and told the family he would help with fundraising.

Now Marshall’s Open Bionic Hero arm lets him do everyday things he has never done before. Mum Steph Janson, 42, told the Mirror: “The cutest thing was when he first put it on, he scratched his head – he’s never done that. It’s all the little things.”

Fundraiser Colin Trevorrow, who helped Marshall, is now turning his efforts to an arm for two-year-old Darcie Ferris, who lost hers after a stroke before birth. He has set up a gofundme page for the youngster.
