A 14-year-old boy has been charged with murder after a man was stabbed to death outside an Asda supermarket, West Mercia Police said.
Ian Kirwan, 53, was attacked on Jinnah Road in Redditch, Worcestershire at about 7.20pm on Tuesday.
The youth, who cannot be named for legal reasons, has been remanded into custody to appear at Kidderminster Magistrates’ Court on Friday, the force said.
A further three youths were arrested on Thursday, in addition to eight arrests made earlier in the week, West Mercia Police said.
One youth has been released on bail. Seven others have been released with no further action.

Local MP Rachel Maclean wrote on Twitter: “My heart breaks for the family and friends of Ian Kirwan who was senselessly murdered in Redditch on Tuesday. “Please know my thoughts are with you at this extremely difficult time. Police are continuing to urge witnesses to come forward.”
Police said Redditch Asda has now reopened and Safer Neighbourhood Officers are maintaining a highly visible presence in the town.
