Boxing fans told they "won't believe" who Jake Paul has chosen to replace Tommy Fury

Jake Paul's trainer has teased a big-name replacement for Tommy Fury if the Brit cannot commit to his fight with the YouTube star.

Paul and Fury are due to clash at Madison Square Garden in New York on August 6 but the brother of heavyweight world champion Tyson has been unable to travel to the United States. He was prevented from flying to the Big Apple for a press conference last week and has yet to resolve the issue.

Paul has given Fury until Wednesday morning to prove he is able to travel and claims to have lined up three alternative opponents for his sixth professional fight. And now his coach, former cruiserweight contender BJ Flores has taken to social media to hint that fans will be impressed with the replacement. "Nobody is going to believe who is coming next," he wrote.

Paul may have to find a late replacement for Fury for a second time having drafted in Tyron Woodley last December when Fury broke a rib in training. The former Love Island star was also struggling with a chest infection and pulled out at two weeks' notice.

Paul knocked out Woodley in the sixth round of what was their second fight in four months following the social media star's points win in Cleveland. Paul had previously beaten fellow YouTuber AnEsonGib, former NBA star Nate Robinson and former UFC fighter Ben Askren.

Fury last week insisted he has no idea why he was prevented from flying from Heathrow to New York but he appears to have shown little urgency in addressing the situation. "Me and my team arrived at Heathrow Airport ready to fly out and as soon as I entered the airport I was pulled to one side and told by a Homeland Security officer that my ESTA had been denied and that I wasn't able to travel to the USA for a reason I apparently know," he said last week.

Should Jake Paul cancel his fight with Tommy Fury? Let us know in the comments section below

"I can stand here and say I have done nothing wrong and I have no clue why I'm not allowed to travel to the USA. I've been training for a fight this whole time and that's all I've been doing. I have no clue why I'm not allowed to travel and neither does my team or my lawyers.

"Now I've got to go to the embassy trying to resolve it and I'm in the middle of training. I don't know why this has happened a huge shock to me and my team. It's government issues and it's a lot bigger than the fight right now and I'm trying to get it sorted."
