After being closed for Christmas, many supermarkets reopen this morning for Boxing Day meaning you can nip out and get whatever it is you've run out of already.

Chances are after all that festive excess, something needs restocking, or you might just fancy getting out the house and seeing what bargains you can find in the Boxing Day sales. The shops have only been closed for a day, but that won't stop some of us from feeling the need to pop out and pick up a few festive extras.

However, some shops are remaining closed on Boxing Day, so check before you make that trip, to ensure it's not a wasted journey. Below we’ve rounded up which supermarkets are opening on Boxing Day.
