The beloved Claremont Bowling Club in Milngavie has been left in ruin after a huge fire engulfed the building yesterday.
Plumes of smoke billowed over the homes of residents nearby as the blaze tore through the historic venue.
Emergency services sped to the scene after they received reports of the incident at around 7am.

Six fire appliances were needed to tame the blaze, with water even being drained from the nearby river to help the fight.
Crews were still on the scene at around 4.30pm yesterday, almost nine hours after they initially arrived.
Images from the scene show the venue burnt out, missing windows, doors and a roof. The club, which has been a pillar of the community for over 100 years, is now just a shell.
No one was injured during the blaze, however, the cause of the fire is still to be determined by investigators.
