Boston’s Jaylen Brown doesn’t like how All-NBA is voted on

Jaylen Brown doesn’t like how All-NBA is voted on, and given how well he has been playing in the latter half of the 2022-23 season, it is hard to blame him. Because he has become seen to be a shooting guard — even by his own Boston Celtics teammates, at times — the Georgia native is perhaps looking at a tougher path to getting voted in even though he has played more than half of his floor time this campaign as the team’s de facto small forward, sharing the court with two guards.

But that’s not even the thing that bothers Brown most; the fact that politics plays a role in who gets voted for and who does not also irks the Cal alum, especially given these accolades affect player compensation.
