Boston Celtics legends Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett think you should have to win an NBA title to get into the hoops hall

There has been no shortage of folks who believe that some of those who have made it into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in Springfield, Massachusetts, sneaked in without the proper merits.

And others may not be aware of the fact that it is the basketball Hall of Fame, meaning that achievements overseas, in college or in Olympic and FIBA play helped some of those players make it into the hall. For others, the fact the NBA is the flagship league of the sport means you ought to have won at least one NBA title to have made it in.

We can count former Celtics Hall of Famers Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce among them, as they professed in a recent video documenting a visit by them to that hallowed ground.

Take a look at the clip embedded above to hear their arguments in favor of such a position.
