The Boston Celtics faced the Sacramento Kings at Golden 1 Center on Wednesday night as the Celtics looked to right the ship after a tough road loss to the Golden State Warriors the night before. And they got it after a shaky start to the tilt, Boston blowing out Sacramento 144-119.
Without key players like All-NBA forward Jayson Tatum and veteran forward Al Horford, the Celtics displayed a different style of play than their usual slower-moving approach, emphasizing ball movement, multiple ball handlers, and a faster pace. The ball moved more freely than in recent games, with Jaylen Brown and Derrick White running the pick-and-roll well. Brown, in particular, continued his impressive stretch of play, showing improved playmaking with 6 assists and 0 turnovers.
The hosts of the CLNS Media “Garden Report” podcast took a close look at the blowout win postgame.
