The Boston Celtics met the Philadelphia 76ers for the final time in their 2022-23 campaign on the Sixers’ home floor and this time around, things went the Sixers way for most of the contest, a weird ending to the game nearly preventing Philly from getting their sole win against the Celtics this season, a 103-101 squeaker.
Solid games from Derrick White (26 points, 7 rebounds), Jayson Tatum (19 points, 6 boards, and as many assists), Malcolm Brogdon (18 points off of the bench), and Marcus Smart (17 points) were almost enough to make up for a night that Boston’s bench was nearly a non-factor on a night with the Celtics down two key players in Jaylen Brown and Robert Williams III.
