Tributes have flooded in for two men who died.
Adam and Liam, who were both in their 20s and from Kirkby, were killed in a crash between a car and a lorry on the M57, on Friday, February 3. A third man, also travelling in the Seat car, was also injured and is in hospital where he is in a serious but stable condition.
The driver of the HGV stopped at the scene and is assisting with enquiries. Friends of the men have described them "boss lads" and have decided to dedicate an event to them.

Adam Shier , 25, was part of Impulse Events which would regularly put on events in clubs and bars across the city. An Impulse event with K Klass was organised for February 18 at Wav, by Adam and his friends.
Now founders of the club night have dedicated the event to him and have said all money raised will go to his family. Posting to Instagram, the founders of Impulse events said: "Been a hard few days for us at Impulse losing one of our own, still can't put into words how hard it's been.
"You was one of a kind, no one had a bad word to say about you, we loved you lad. Our event will still be going ahead on the 18th but we want to give everyone a chance who knew Adam, friends family or people who just want to come down anyway and have a night to remember and celebrate him.
"Money that is raised on the night will be going to his family to help with what ever it can, so we will be adding more tickets on Skiddle so anyone can buy tickets to raise money. Even if you can’t make the event and still want to buy a ticket it would be more than appreciated."
The post received more than 800 likes, with one commenter posting: "Stay strong boys, throw a party for him." And another adding: "Some man he was lad, we’ll have a party for him."
A number of tributes flooded in with Becki Chambers writing: "RIP Adam & Liam, thinking of your lovely families at this heart breaking time xx" Ellie Sant said: "Rest in peace Ad & Liam. Never be forgotten."
Det Sgt Andy Roper from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit said following the crash: "First and foremost our thoughts are with the families of the two men who tragically died and the third man seriously injured following last night’s collision. An investigation is underway which is in the very early stages.
"We are trying to establish the circumstances that led up to the collision and would ask anyone who was on the M57 between j6 and j7 around 9pm last night who saw anything significant or thinks they captured something on their dashcam to contact us. Investigative work will remain ongoing on the M57 for a considerable period of time and motorists are advised to avoid the area.
"We would like to thank people for their patience as this matter is dealt with. Anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information is asked to call our Matrix Serious Collision Investigation Unit on (0151) 777 5747, email SCIU@merseyside.police.uk, or DM @MerPolCC on Twitter quoting reference 23000100453."
