Borussia Dortmund have completed the signing of German striker Karim Adeyemi, who was linked with a move to Anfield in recent months as a result of his prolific form.
Joining from RB Salzburg, the 20-year-old has agreed a five-year deal at the Bundesliga side for a fee in the region of £32.5million. Adeyemi has scored 23 goals in all competitions this season and has been recruited as a direct replacement for the outgoing Erling Haaland.
Speaking of his summer transfer, the German international told Borussia Dortmund : "As a young boy I was fascinated by Dortmund's fast-paced football. So when I learned of Dortmund's interest, I knew straight away that I wanted to join BVB.
