Dortmund vs Man City: Kick-off time, team news, prediction, TV, live stream - Champions League preview today

Manchester City will win Champions League Group G by beating Borussia Dortmund tonight.

Pep Guardiola take his side to Germany unbeaten on the continental stage this season, albeit coming off the back of a frustrating draw against Copenhagen last time out.

City got back to winning ways after losing to Liverpool last week by beating Brighton and, generally, are in the kind of ominous form that has become the norm.

Still, while they did beat Dortmund at the Etihad Stadium, there have been signs of defensive frailty.

Dortmund are hardly in the best shape this season but took Bayern Munich to a dramatic draw on home soil earlier this month, with their home support a major factor to consider.

The Champions League group game is scheduled for an 8pm BST kick-off time on Tuesday October 25, 2022.

Nico Schlotterback is a doubt for Dortmund after coming off against Stuttgart, though there is hope over Donyell Malen, although Maro Reus is injured.

Salih Ozcan is suspended, meaning Emre Can will likely replace him.

For City, John Stones was back in the squad for the Brighton win and could be involved in some capacity.

Sergio Gomez, however, is suspended. Kyle Walker and Kalvin Phillips remain injured.

Playing in Dortmund is never easy but surely City have the firepower – namely through Erling Haaland – to overcome a team who have conceded ten goals in their last six games.
