Manuel Akanji insists he is 'fully focused' on Borussia Dortmund amid reports linking him with a move to Manchester United this summer.
United could look to sign a new centre-back at the end of the season, with Dortmund defender Akanji one of those regularly linked with a move to Old Trafford.
Recent reports have suggested Switzerland international Akanji is open to a new challenge this summer, and in particular, he is supposedly keen on having a spell in the Premier League. However, the centre-back insists he is still very happy to play for Dortmund, though he admits he will see what happens in regards to his future this summer.

“I am fully focused on Dortmund at the moment,” Akanji is quoted by Kicker when quizzed on his future at the Bundesliga club.
“We will see what happens in the future. I’m totally happy to play in this team. I think I have an important role and I want to perform until the end. And then we’ll see in the summer how things go.”
A report last week suggested Akanji had rejected a new contract offer from Dortmund and claimed he would leave for around £20million during the upcoming window.
The Swiss defender joined Dortmund from FC Basel in January 2018 and is contracted to the club until summer 2023.
