Borussia Dortmund CEO Michael Zorc has revealed his club are 'surprised' by Erling Haaland’s latest comments around his future.
Speaking last week, Haaland revealed that Dortmund are pushing him to make a decision over his future and hinted he could decide his next move in the coming weeks.
Haaland has netted 78 goals in 77 games for Dortmund since joining them in the 2020 January transfer window from Red Bull Salzburg.
That impressive form has resulted in the forward being linked with a host of top clubs around Europe, including Liverpool.

The Norway international has also been linked with moves to Real Madrid, Barcelona, Manchester City, Chelsea and Manchester United over the past year.
However, Red Bull Salzburg sporting director Christoph Freund claimed last year that Haaland 'will land' at Liverpool instead of United or Real if he leaves the German side.
“The last six months I have chosen not to say anything out of respect for Dortmund, but now the club has started to press me into making a decision,” the forward told Viaplay on Friday night.
“All I want to do is play football. But they press me … about my future, so that means I have to make a decision soon.”
And now in response to Haaland’s remarks, Zorc has stated that Dortmund has yet to hold talks with the player and there has certainly been no deadline set by his club.
“Erling’s comments surprised us a little,” he told Kicker. “There is currently no deadline, no deadlines, and no discussions.
“However, the fact that we want and must have conversations at some point is obvious, understandable, and only professional.”
