Former Rangers star Alan Hutton has slated defender Borna Barisic for his role in Aberdeen's goal at Hampden.
The Light Blues went in to half time one nil down after Bojan Miovski struck to give Jim Goodwin's side a huge lead. The North Macedonian forward was initially offside in the first phase of play with Barisic seemingly slowing down as Matty Kennedy zoomed by him to eventually set up the goal with the Rangers defence caught majorly lacking.
And the Croatian defender couldn't escape criticism from pundits including Ally McCoist and Michael Stewart but couldn't escape the wrath of Hutton who believes there was 'no reason' for the full-back's movement in the goal.

He told Viaplay Sports: "Barisic has to take control of the situation. There's no reason for him to stop as a defender.
"He's running back towards goal. Whether someone's offside or not he needs to follow the runner. He's shouting for the goalkeeper to come out. It's pointless. But great finish, he takes it really well."
Stewart added: "Quite clearly, Bojan Miovski is offside. But Barisic is standing watching Kennedy run past him. But I don't know what Davies is doing? He's got no idea where Bojan Miovski is going."
