Boris Johnson 'taken by ability' of pole-dancing ex-model Jennifer Arcuri

Boris Johnson was “taken by the ability” of the pole-dancing former model he has been linked to, her ex-boyfriend has revealed.

Jennifer Arcuri’s former lover Joe Yukich broke his silence, as pressure continued to mount on the Prime Minister to explain the decision to award public funds to his close friend while he was mayor of London.

The Government said it saw “no reason to think there is anything untoward” had occurred.

Ms Arcuri is alleged to have been given £126,000 in public funds while treated to privileged access to three foreign trade missions led by Mr Johnson.

Lib Dem MP Layla Moran raised the issue in Parliament this week.

She said: “The fact that we are back in the Commons today is because the Prime Minister has been shown to ride rough-shod over the laws of this land.

“It would indeed be disappointing if we were to find that the Prime Minister has form in bending the rules for personal or political gain.”

For the government, Digital minister, Matt Warman denied any wrongdoing.

“The Prime Minister and his staff have had absolutely no role in the award of this grant,” he said.

“We have no reason to think there is anything untoward in this particular matter.”

The issue was raised as Joe said the controversy had left his ex-girlfriend “rattled and upset” as she remains in hiding in the States.

But the 60-year-old insisted Ms Arcuri, 34, who has appeared in an adult Bollywood movie, was not “some bimbo blonde” and would not fancy Boris because he was “not smart enough”.

Joe, who has sprung to the defence of his ex, revealed she had another powerful and wealthy friend - Facebook billionaire Mark Zuckerberg
