Boris Johnson enjoyed an energetic jog on the beach in Blackpool on Saturday morning ahead of his address to the Conservative Party Spring Conference.
Dressed in a blue hoodie and shorts the Prime Minister sprinted along the sand, at one point leaping over a water stream.
The prime minister briefly halted his workout to have a quick chat with a local fisherman.
Mr Johnson is due to address Blackpool Winter Gardens at around 11.45am.
The PM is expected to focus on the war in Ukraine during his final speech of the two-day event.
During his appearance at the Scottish Tory conference on Friday, Mr Johnson dedicated a chunk of his speech to discussing the conflict between Russia and Ukraine.
He told supporters in Aberdeen he was “more than ever convinced that (Russian president Vladimir) Putin will fail”.
Pledging further support for Kyiv, he said the Kremlin had “underestimated the passionate commitment of the people in this country to help”.
It marks the first time the Prime Minister has addressed a mass gathering of Tory members since the scandal over possible lockdown breaches in Downing Street.
