Boris Johnson offers meet and greet at Scottish gig for eye-watering amount

SERIAL grifter and once prime minister Boris Johnson will be in Edinburgh and is offering an eye-watering £121 meet and greet.

An Evening With Boris Johnson, despite the name, is not the latest horror movie release from A24. In fact, it's an event hosted by the former Tory leader which will be held at the Usher Hall in September.

Along with general admission tickets, which start in the nosebleed section for the bargain price of £49 not including booking fees, there is the opportunity to meet the man himself for JUST £121.

He must need a few new rolls of “gold” wallpaper again if he’s trying to rinse the few fans he has up in Scotland ... or perhaps another £3675 drinks trolley – those types of things are expensive when you don’t have the public footing the bill.

To think you could spend your hard-earned cash to meet Brexit's number-one fan Johnson ... OR you could book flights from any Scottish airport to pretty much any European destination instead.

Perhaps with the £121, we could send the former prime minister on a one-way flight to anywhere but Scotland.

Johnson’s event is sure to be full of laughs. Not necessarily with him and more than likely at his expense. But we're sure there will be a fair few poor sods that will cough up the cash to go see him.

Those who do want to take part in the “strictly limited” meet and greet have been reminded they must show ID, a passport or driving licence will do just fine. Obviously, the decision has been influenced by the extremely popular Tory policy of voting ID.

I can’t imagine Johnson will be wanting to talk too much about former policies during his whirlwind tour of the Scottish capital. Scrutiny was never his thing. Though there's no back-door of Bute House to exit from this time.

Or maybe you could save the £121 and do something vastly more fun and interesting than lining Johnson's pockets.

Life after Westminster must be getting tough for yet another Tory politician.
