Shameless Boris Johnson has appointed his own deputy chief of staff to the Committee on Standards in Public Life.
The move comes at the end of a day of controversial acts by the Prime Minister as he prepares to leave office.
First he appointed Harry Mount, a friend and author of "The Wit and Wisdom of Boris Johnson ", to the House of Lords Appointments Commission.
And then No10 published a legal opinion from Boris Johnson's lawyer, Lord Pannick, which argued the forthcoming Parliamentary investigation into his conduct was "unfair."
Now, Baroness Finn of Swansea, who Mr Johnson made his Deputy Chief of Staff in February 2021 - and has been acting Chief since Steve Barclay became Health Secretary in July.
She's one of three political appointments to the Committee on Standards in Public Life.
Dame Margaret Beckett will start a new term as Labour's representative in November.
And Jeane Freeman, a former SNP MSP, has been appointed to start in December.
Lord True, Minister of State at the Cabinet Office welcomed the new Members appointments, and Dame Margaret for her continued work on the Committee saying: “I would like to congratulate Jeane Freeman and Baroness Finn on their appointment to the Committee and I am grateful to Margaret Beckett for her continued service to the Committee.
"I have no doubt that all these appointees will continue to display their strong commitment to the principles of public life.”
