Boris Becker opens up on one-night stand with model that cost him marriage in documentary

Tennis legend Boris Becker has opened up about the highs and lows of his life, including his recent stint in jail and the one-night stand with a Russian model that resulted in the birth of his daughter Anna and the breakdown of his first marriage.

Becker was deported from the UK in December after serving eight months in prison after being found guilty of four charges under the Insolvency Act.. And he is now set to release a tell-all two-part documentary called 'Boom! Boom! The World vs. Boris Becker'.

In the trailer for the documentary, which features the likes of John McEnroe, Novak Djokovic and Becker's ex-wife Barbara, the 55-year-old is reduced to tears when discussing his time in prison. "I've hit my bottom. But that's not the end yet, there is going to be another chapter," he vows.

Becker also reflects on his fling with Angela Ermakova in London restaurant Nobu. The one-night stand occurred in June 1999 after he had been knocked out of Wimbledon by Pat Rafter, his final match before retiring from the sport.

In the documentary, Becker recalls meeting Ermakova eight months on from their fling after she told him she was pregnant. "She came in, she had a big coat on," he remembers.

"She took the coat off and she was heavily pregnant. You just can't believe it. The wake-up call came very late."

In his 2003 autobiography, Becker revealed details of his encounter with Ermakova. It took place while Barbara checked into hospital experiencing discomfort while pregnant with the couple's son Elias.

"She [Ermakova] looked directly at me, the look of the hunter that said, 'I want you',' Becker recalled. "There she was again, walking twice past the bar. And again this look.

"A little while later she left her table for the toilet. I followed behind. Five minutes small talk and then straight away into the nearest possible place and down to business.

"Afterwards she went off, I had another beer, paid and went back to my hotel. As there wasn't any news from the hospital I went to bed around 2am.

"In the morning I went to Barbara: the pains were a false alarm. We packed up our things and left England. As to the consequences of the previous evening I didn't have a second thought."

Eight months later, Becker received a letter from Ermakova informing him she was pregnant and the tennis star flew to London to meet her. Ermakova gave birth to Becker's daughter Anna in March 2000 and he and his wife divorced the following year.

"Certainly my straying hastened the split with Barbara," he admitted. "Every time we discussed things there was this killer argument - what happened in London. I couldn't handle this and my other problems all together any longer."
