Boris Johnson married his third wife Carrie Symonds in 2020, making Mr Johnson the first Prime Minister in 200 years to get married while in office. But the Prime Minister's love life has long been a popular subject in the press.
He married his second wife Marina Wheeler in a matter of weeks after becoming divorced from Allegra Mostyn-Owen. Ms Mostyn Owen had to tolerate a series of reports about Johnson’s love life outside of the home while he was working as a journalist and member of parliament.
The PM has a child outside of his marriages. He has a daughter with Helen Macintyre, which was confirmed after a court ruled that it was in the public interest that this information about the then-London mayor entered the public domain.
