We’ve been blessed once again with glorious weather this August, with Greater Manchester set to be hotter than the Algarve next week. And to celebrate, Boots have slashed the price of shoppers favourite suncare and tanning products to just £10.
Temperatures are estimated to reach up to 30C by the end of next week, so it’s important to stock up on your sunscreen, with many looking to top up their tan, too.
Skinny Tan mousse is down to £10 from £21.99, saving more than half the price. Skinny Tan tanning expert, Claire Lambert said: “If you're new to tanning, then I'd recommend using a gradual tan to build your confidence first. Gradual tanners are ideal for prolonging your tan, too, as they'll keep your colour topped up.”

This mousse , available in medium and dark, has a gorgeous coconut scent and promises ‘no streaks’ or patchiness when fading.
The biggest saving to be had in this week’s £10 Tuesday deal on the health and beauty site is on the Vita Liberata Tinted Mousse in medium and dark. The top-rated tan is usually £27, but has been reduced to £10 for one day only.
It’s described as an ‘easy to apply, natural-looking tan ’ that dries quickly, which is perfect if you like to tan and go, lasting up to seven days before ‘fading evenly’.
There are also a number of tanning waters from popular brands on offer including Revolution Beauty’s tanning water down from £11.99, Isle of Paradise Self-Tanning Water down from £18.95 and the Skinny Tan Coconut Water Tanning Mist down £12.99 from £22.99.
From beauty brand Bondi Sands this Boots Exclusive dry oil develops over two to three hours and lasts for up to a week, leaving you with perfectly bronzed and glowy skin. Liquid Gold is Bondi Sands’ ‘longest lasting tan’ and conveniently requires no wash off.
A number of suncare products are also reduced to a tenner, with Boots saying ‘wearing sunscreen every day is non-negotiable’.
The retailer added: “Our skin is exposed to the sun and its harmful UV rays on many occasions, from that two-minute walk to the corner shop, to driving to work or even sitting near a window at home. It all adds up. UV rays spell damage for the skin , which is why sunscreen is a must, even on cloudy days and in the winter.”
Some of the best deals include a saving of £10 on the Hello Sunday The Mineral One Mineral Face Sunscreen , and £15 on Lancaster Sun Beauty Face Cream . In addition, the Avene Very High Protection Cleanance SPF50+ Sun Cream is down £7.50 and suited to blemish prone skin, with No7 Protect & Perfect Intense facial protection also down to a tenner.
