With the weather getting warmer, wearing a thicker full coverage foundation can sometimes be uncomfortable.
That's why many shoppers opt for a lightweight option, such as a tinted moisturiser or cream. Boots is known for stocking an array of different popular brands including L'Oreal, Maybelline and more.
This time, it was a No7 HydraLuminous AquaRelease Skin Perfector that proved popular for shoppers on the hunt for a lighter finish. Priced at £15.95, the foundation has received a total star rating of 4.5 out of 5 from shoppers.

On the Boots website, the full product description reads: "Reveal your skin’s natural radiance with this ultra-lightweight skin perfecter that blurs the appearance of dehydration lines for a naturally smooth and luminous finish."
The foundation features a 'non-greasy formula' that is ideal for oily skin, and is described as being 'suitable for all skin types'. It promises to create a 'second-skin effect' with a protective blend of ingredients including Vitamin C, mulberry, Vitamin E.
To use, be sure to prep your skin with a primer and dab small amounts of skin perfecter on the centre of the forehead, nose, chin and cheeks. For best results, blend in circular motions with fingers.
Among the reviews, one shopper said: "What a must have! So light you feel like you have nothing on, blends in effortlessly. I love it [smile emoji]."
A second review read: "Such a lovely light finish, with a luminous glow, will definitely be buying this again, perfect for summer!"
A third shopper said: "Absolutely LOVE this product! Have not found a more lovely light coverage option - this literally rolls onto my skin like water. The finish is quite shiny, especially if paired with a moisturiser, but a bit of powder fixes this. It is so smooth and evens out my skin tone perfectly. I barely feel it there, though the hydration is effective and keeps my skin dewy all day. Cannot recommend it enough. Note that the coverage is quite light - it can be layered up, but it has definitely been designed for a 'barely there' look and is not for you if you're looking for a fuller coverage. But if you want something more natural, I think it's perfect!"
A fourth review read: "Bought this not knowing what shade to go for, and based on other reviews. It's absolutely amazing on my skin, hydration and colour tone wise. Would definitely buy again!"
