Customers at Boots can benefit from up to 50 per cent off certain products - but only if they’ve got an Advantage Card.
It comes as part of a new scheme launched last month, called the Price Advantage, which sees shoppers with the loyalty card save more money when they shop.
It works a little bit like the Tesco Clubcard scheme, where two prices are displayed on some items, one cheaper if you scan your card.
The Boots Advantage Card launched in 1997, and has been providing shoppers with perks and points every time they swipe their card.
Card holders can collect four points per pound spent, which can then be used to pay for goods.
Other perks include bonus points when you sign up, the free Health & Beauty magazine, as well as added bonuses for parents, students and those over 60.
But the latest addition to the Advantage Card is the Price Advantage, making customers eligible for exclusive deals on some of the top rated products.
The health and beauty retailer trialled the scheme last summer, and launched it officially in stores in January.
For now, savings can only be made in store, with a view to hit online soon. Products included in the offer can be recognised by a pink ticket, which displays that lower price for Advantage Card holders.
The offers change monthly, and you can still collect Advantage Card points on your purchases, too.
I headed in store to see what Price Advantage offers I could find - and some of them were brilliant.
The first products I noticed with the pink Price Advantage tag was the L’Oreal Revitalift range, with shoppers paying £24.99 for the laser renew serum. But Advantage Card holders could save £8.39 by tapping their loyalty card at the checkout.
Waken 500ml peppermint mouthwash would usually set shoppers back £4.50, but the Price Advantage ticket sees card colders save £1.50, paying only £3.
The Neutrogena hand cream is priced at £3.99, with Ad-Card holders saving around a third, paying £2.70.
Those who regularly buy Aveeno could stock up this February, as most of the range is included in the offer. With an Advantage Card, their moisture cream is £9.70 instead of £14.49, while the body lotion is £6.70, instead of £9.99.
Some of the Boots Ingredients skincare range also has money off, where beauty buffs can bag bakuchiol serum, retinol, AHA and salicylic acid for £5 instead of £7.
One of the best finds, though, were the Pixi BeauifEYE patches, which are normally £22. According to Boots, they’re amazing "if you fancy waking up feeling like you’ve had a full 12 hours’ sleep”.
With the Price Advantage, they’ve got £7.40 knocked off, making them just £14.60.
To take advantage of the offer - pardon the pun - all you need to do is ensure you’ve scanned your card or app at the checkout.
Then, the money will automatically be knocked off your total bill and the savings shown on your receipt.
If you’ve not yet signed up for an Advantage Card, then you can sign up for free on the Boots app, online or in-store.
