Across the UK supermarket Iceland and online retailer Amazon have pulled some of their products, after concerns for health and safety.

The latest recalls include products sold by Iceland, Amazon and Flying Tiger. Anyone who has bought a recalled item is advised not to use it and in most cases a refund is available.
These are the items which have been recalled.
Flying Tiger - Vaegoplader Wall Adapter
Product name: Vaegoplader Wall Adapter
Model number: 3024900 or 3024901
Flying Tiger are asking customers to check if the product number 3024900 or 3024901 is printed directly on the charger and if so are advising customers not to use them due to a potential risk of electric shock in the rare cases that the plastic gets soft and exposes the internal wiring.
The store is encouraging customers to return the charger to their nearest Flying Tiger for a full refund.
Iceland - Takeway Chicken Bhuna
Product name: Iceland Takeaway Chicken Bhuna Pack

Iceland is recalling Iceland Takeaway Chicken Bhuna (Frozen) because it contains milk which is not declared on the label. As a result of a packaging error, some packs may contain Iceland Takeaway Creamy Butter Chicken. This means the product is a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to milk or milk constituents.
The store is advising customers not to eat the product if they have an allergy or intolerance to milk or milk constituents and to return the product to the store it was brought from for a full refund.
Amazon - Auopro Cube USB Power Strip
This white vertical power socket with five outlets and four USB ports which is packaged in a buff brown cardboard box has been removed by Amazon after it posed serious risk of fire.
The product presents a serious risk of fire as the internal components were accessed by unscrewing security screws on the outside of the casting. The internal build quality was poor, as the connections to the mains socket outlets were only made using solder, which when used alone is not considered to be a reliable form of connection. Therefore, the earth connection and the two poles were not reliably connected and there are potential hazards of fire / explosion and electric shock. The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016
Amazon - Enuotek Plug In Wall Lamp
This direct plug-in mounted luminaire with a flexible neck available in black or white has been removed from Amazon after a serious risk of electric shock.
The product presents a serious risk of electric shock as the mains plug module did not meet the dimensional requirements of BS 1363. The breakdown isolation also did not meet the insulation requirements set by the Standard for Class II equipment. The item was not accompanied by adequate instructions and safety information required by the standard. The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016
Amazon - 16 Piece Sand Beach Toy
This set of plastic 'beach toys' supplied in a plastic storage bag with web material handles and a zip closure has been removed from Amazon after a serious chemical risk.
This product poses a serious chemical risk as the storage bag contains phthalates. A young child playing with the toy is exposed to the phthalates which can potentially harm a child's health either via cancer or non-cancer effects. The product does not meet the requirements of the (REACH) Enforcement Regulations 2008 (Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals).
Fitbit - Ionic Smartwatch
Product name: Fitbit Iconic Smartwatch
Model number: FB503
Fitbit has removed this product as there is a risk of burns as the battery in the watch can overheat. They advise that owners of the watch should stop using it and register to receive a refund.
Kenwood - Julienne Disc for Food Processor
Product name: Kenwood Julienne Disc for Food Processor
Model number: FPM800 and FPM810
Kenwood is voluntarily recalling the due Julienne disc as it cannot be completely ruled out that parts of the disc could detach during use, creating a potential ingestion risk. The product does not meet the requirements of the General Product Safety Regulations 2005.
Boots/Mothercare - Santa Pyjama Sets and Snowman Top
Sold in Boots this Mothercare pyjama sets and snowman tops have been recalled as Mothercare has identified that there is a chance that the pom pom detail attached to the tops could become detached when a pulling force is applied. This may be a potential choking hazard.
Customers who purchased any of these items between September 1, 2021 and February 22, 2022 are asked to return them to a Boots store at their earliest convenience for a refund.
