Boots shoppers are leaving top reviews for a £6.29 primer they say is "better than MAC".
The popular beauty retailer stocks an array of different brands from budget to luxury, with products available from its own Boots range available too. This time, it was a wet n wild primer causing a stir online.
The product is described as "miraculous" and is said to minimise "pores, fine lines, wrinkles and even out skin tone" as well as "preventing your foundation from caking".

wet n wild's Photo Focus Face Primer has an average 4.5 star rating on the Boots website. One happy customer said: "I have really oily skin and even after just a couple of hours with make-up the oil shines through, and my makeup isn't as matte as when I first did it.
"Since using this primer I've found it has really helped and hugely benefited. Using this primer as a base definitely extends the amount of time my face stays less shiny/matte, and it leaves my skin feeling very smooth.
"I don't think I could live without it now, I have seen such a different since first using this."
A second said: "Prefer this to my MAC primer, and obviously it costs a lot less. This is my go-to now". A third added: "I've been using this primer for a few weeks and I love it! Makes my foundation go on so smoothly without being too heavy and lasts all day."
